ORDDINANCE No. 663
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH-RELATING TO TRUCK ROUTES; ADDING
SECTIONS- 6121.62 and AMENDING SECTIONS
6121.129 6121,53, 6121.5d .and 6124 OF
THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE.
• The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, Calif—
ornia, do ordain as follows:
Section 1: There is hereby added to the Huntington
Beach Ordinance Code, Section 6121.62, to read in words
and figures as follows:
Section 6121,62. Quincy Street from Main Street to
• Delaware Avenue .
Section 2: That Sections 6121,12, 6121.53, 6121.5d
and 6124 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code be and
the same are hereby amended to read in words and figures,
as follows:
• Section 6121.12. Main Street from Ocean Avenue to
Seventeenth Street.,
Section 6121.53. Yorktown Street from Delaware
Avenue to Hampshire Avenue.

Section 6121.56. Creation of Truck Routes. It is the
intention of this Article to create Seventeenth Street
Twenty-third Street, Mansion Avenue , Main Street from Seven-
teenth Street to the North City Limits, Quincy Street from
Delaware Avenue to Hampshire Avenue ; Delaware Avenue from
Quincy to Seventeenth Street, and Yorktown Street from Dela-
ware Avenue to Seventeenth Street as truck routes within
this city on which vehicles in excess of two and one-half tons
gross weight may be propelled.
Section 3: That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the
same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington
Beach News, a weekly newspaper published, printed and cir-
culated in the City of Huntington Beach, Orange County, Calif-
ornia, and thirty (30) days after the adoption thereof the
same shall take effect and be in force.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, this 20th day of Ma-V 9
1957.
