AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH-RELATING TO TRAILER PARKS AND
AMENDING- SECTION 8748.5 OF THE HUNTING-
TON BEACH ORDINANCE C ODE.
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach do
ordain as follows:
Section 1, That Section 8748.5 of the Huntington
Beach Ordinance Code be and it is hereby amended to read
in words and figures as follows:
Section 874-8.5. Liquified Petroleum Gases: The liqui-
'-fied Petroleum Gases Safety Orders of the State of Califor-
nia shall apply to all installations , important buildings,
and trailer sites in trailer parks, with the following sup-
plementary provisions:
(1) No more than two (2) vessels having an aggregate
capacity of 25 gallons (25 gal.) shall be located on any
trailer coach. Such vessels shall be securely but not perma-
nently fastened to the trailer hitch bracket.
(2) All LPG gas piping outside of trailer coaches shall
be well supported and protected against mechanical injury.
(3) No 1'i�quified petroleum gas vessel shall be charged
within ten feet (101 ) of any structure.
(4) No liquified petroleum gas cylinder shall be stored
or located inside or beneath any storage cabinet, cabana,
awning , carport, ramada or any other structure.

Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the pass-
age and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the '-same
to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach
News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated
in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and 30 days
after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect and
be in force.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, this 11th day of May, 1959.

affirmative vote of more than a majority of all the members
of said City Council, as follows:
