HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #722 ORDINANCE No. 722 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH .RELATING -TO THE CLOSING HOURS ON THE BEACH AND ADDING NEW SECTIONS TO THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE. The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach do or- dain as follows: Section 1, That Sections 7527 and 7527.1 be added to the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code to read in words and figures as follows: Section 7527. Public Beach, Use at Night. No person shall be allowed or permitted on the public beach in the City of Huntington Beach between the hours of 1:00 o'clock A.M. and 5:00 o'clock A.M. of the same day. In the. event of special circumstances so warranting, the City Administrative Officer, in his judgment , is hereby authorized and empowered to modify, temporarily, the hours during which the beaches are closed by first filing each such modification, and the specified period thereof, with the City Clerk and mailing a notice thereof to each Councilman at least ten (10) days prior to the time which each such modification shall be ef- fective. Section 7527.1. Exceptions. The provisions of Section ?527 shall,.o got apply to the public buildings located on the Huntington Beach beach nor to the Munibipal Trailer Park. � 1. � Ord. No. 722 Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the pass- age and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper printed, published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, Orange County, California; and thirty days after the adoption hereof the same shall take effect and be in force.
