OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ACCEPTING THE REQUIREPNENTS OF SECTION 13522 OF THE PENAL CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA RELATING TO TRAINING AND STANDARDS OF LAW ENFORCE1,1ENT OFFICERS The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach do ordain as follows: Section I._ Training and Standards of Police Officers. The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the State of California under the provisions of Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code. Section 2.. Pursuant to Section 13522 of said Chapter 1, the City of Huntington Beach while receiving aid from the State of California pursuant to said Chapter l,. will.adhere to the standards of recruitment and training established by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper, .printed, published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty (30) days after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect and be in force. 1.
