F � ORDINANCE No. 821 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY CF HUNT INGT ON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH OR- DINANCE. CODE BY RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING SECTION 9211.62 (Sectional District Map 13-6-11) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held public hearings on Zone Case No. 131 and recommended the changes in the district classification as hereinafter set out; and WHEREAS? the City Council regularly held public hear- ings in said zone cases and now finds that public necessi- ty, convenience and the general welfare require the follow- ing amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hunt- ington Beach do ordain as follows: Section 1. That the real property in the City of Hunt- ington Beach, County of Orange , Staffs of California' describ- ed as follows: AREA I. Located on approximately 25 acres generally bounded by Hamilton Avenue on the north' Newland Street on the east, and the Orange County Flood Control Channel D-1 on the south, and on the west by Northerly line extending north of the Westerly ' end of the existing Channel D-1. Legally described as follows: 1. Ord. No. 821 "Beginning at a point described as the center mark of Section 13, T 6 South, Range 11 West. , S.B.B. & M as' designated in C.S.T.B. 129-26; thence South 00 38t 03" East a distance of 597.63 feet; thence North 870 39` 37" West a distance of 1653.47 feet , thence -North 00 381 03" West to the intersection of the north line of the South 1/2 of said Section; thence North 890 08t 40" East a distance of 1653 feet plus or minus, - to the point of beginning. AREA. II. Located on approximately 40 acres generally bounded by Hamilton Avenue on the north, Newland Street on the west, Cannery Street on the East and to a depth of approximately 660 feet from the centerline of Hamilton Avenue. Legally described as the North 1/2 of North 1/2 of Southeast 1/4 of Section 13, Township 6 South, Range 11 blest, S.B.B. & M. AREA. III. Located on approximately 25 acres and generally bounded by Cannery Street on the east and currently recognized as a rotary mud dump. Legally described as the South 1/2 of North- east 1/4 of Southeast 1/4 of Section 13, Town- ship 6 South, Range 11 `West!• 7 S.B.B. & M. AREA IV. Located on approximately 40 acres and generally bounded by Cannery Street on the east and Banning Avenue on the South. Legally described as the Southeast 1/4 of Southeast 1/4 'of Section 13 , Township 6 South, Range 11 West. , S.B. B. & M. is hereby reclassified from R-1 Single Family Residence Dis- as adopted by Interim Ordinance No. 668, trict/to M-1 Light Industrial District. Section 2. That Section 9211..62 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code (Sectional District Map 13-6-11) is hereby amended and as amended shall read in words and figures as follows: 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the pass- age and adoption of this .ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington .Beach News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and .thirty (30) days after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect and be in force.
