HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #829 ORDINANCE No. 829 r AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO ZONE CASES 165, 166 and 167, AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDI- NANCE CODE BY RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING SECTIONS 9211.41 (Sectional District Map 25-5-11) , 9211.34 (Sectional District Map 15-5-11) and 9211.3 (Sectional District Map 14-5-11) WHEREAS, the Planning .Commission has; given notices of and duly held public hearings on 'Zone Cases 165, 166 and 167 and recommended the changes in the district classifications as hereinafter set out; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held public hearings in said zone cases and now finds .that p.uDlic necessity, con- venience and the general welfare require the following amend- ments and that the use under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach do ordain as follows: Section 1. That the real property in the City of Hunting- ton Beach, County of Orange , State of California, described as follows: Located on approximately 15.4 acres on the South side of Blaylock Place and 200' ft. West of Beach Boulevard. , and legally described as: Tract 3953 being a portion of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest l/4 of Section 25-5-11. 1. Ord. No. 829 J ' is hereby reclassified from A-1-X County Land Use Ordinance No. 351, as .adopted by Interim Ordinance No. 668 to R-1 Single Family Residence District. Section 2. That the real property in -the City of Hunt- ington Beach, County of Orange, State.. of. California, describ- ed as follows: Located on approximately 8 acres on the Northeast corner of Smeltzer Avenue and Springdale Street and legally described herewith: Being a portion of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 15, Township 5 Southl .Range ll. West. , S.B.B. & M in the Rancho La Bolsa Chi.ca in the City of Hunt- ington Beach, County of Orange, State of Califor- nia as shown on a .map recorded in Book 51, Page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps in.. the. office of the County Recorder described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the South- west 1/4 of Section 15 said corner being the cen- terline intersection of Springdale Street 60.00 ft. wide and Smeltzer Avenue . , 60.00 ft. wide , said corner being the true point of beginning; thence, North 00 40' 2511 West along .the west line_of the., Southwest 1/4 of Section 15: and said centerline of Springdale. B.B. & M. , lying northeasterly of that certain parcel of land conveyed to the State of Calif- ornia .by deed recorded September 21+, 1954, in Book 2825, Page 463, of the official records of Orange County, EXCEPTING THEREFROM, the south 287.21 feet of the east 227.50 feet. is hereby reclassified from M-1 Light Manufacturing District to R-1 Single Family Residence District.
