AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON
BEACH ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO TRAILER
PARKS BY AMENDING SECTION 8720.1 THEREOF
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach do or-
dain as follows:
Section 1. That Section 8720.1 of the Huntington Beach
Ordinance Code is hereby amended and as amended, to read in
words and figures as follows:
Section 8720.1. UNLAWFUL USE. It shall be unlawful for
any person to park, leave parked, use , occupy or maintain
any trailer coach upon any area or tract of land within the
City of Huntington Beach except as follows :
(a) A trailer coach may be parked and used as living
quarters in a licensed trailer park.
(b) A trailer coach may be parked for display, for
sale , and/or trade purposes on a trailer sales lot
for which a current business license has been
issued.
(c) A trailer coach may be parked upon the streets with-
in the .City of Huntington Beach during the daylight
hours, if not in violation of any other parking
rule or regulation applicable to the area.

Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to
be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News,
a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated in the
City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty (30) days
after the adoption thereof the same shall take effect and
be in force.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California., this ,nth day of June ,1961.

Clerk of the City Council of said City and do hereby certify
that the whole number of members of the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach is five ; that the foregoing ordinance
was read to said City Council at a regular meeting thereof held
on the 15th day of May , 1961, and was again read to
said City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th
day of June , 1961, and was passed and adopted by the
affirmative vote of more than a majority of all the members
of said City Council.
