Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #847 ORDINANCE No. 847 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HU-NTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO ZONE CASES 143, 174 and 175 AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING SECTIONS 9211.51 (Sectional District Map 2-6-11) and 9211.56 (Sectional District Map 11-6-11) . WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notices of and duly held public hearings on Zone Cases 143, 174 and 175 and recommended the changes in the district classifica- tions as hereinafter set out; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held public hearings in said zone cases and now finds that .public necessity, con- venience and the general welfare require the following amend- ments and that the use under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach do ordain as .f ollows: Section 1. That the real- property 'in the City of Hunt- ington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, describ- ed as follows: ' Located on approximately 1.25 acres 330 feet south of Garfield Avenue and west of Beach Boulevard, and legally described as Block 3008, East Side Villa Tract 1. Ord. No. 847 is hereby reclassified from R-4-X Suburban Residential Dis- trict, as adopted by Interim Ordinance 668 to C-4 District. Section 2. That the real property in the City of Hunt- ington Beach, County of Orange , State of California, describ- ed as follows: Located on approximately 5 acres lying between Knoxville Street, Memphis Street and on the east side of Florida Avenue , Legally described as Blocks 1207-A, 1207-B, 1107-A and 1107-B Vista Del Mar Tract, M.M. 4-36 9 is hereby reclassified from M-2-0 Industrial District to R-3 Multiple Family district; and that the real property in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Located on approximately- 5 acres lying between Knoxville Street, Memphis. Street and on the west side of Beach Boulevard, Legally described as Blocks 1208-A, 1208-B, 1108-A and 1108-B, Vista Del Mar Tract, M.M. 4-36, is hereby reclassified from NI-2-0 Di6trict=.to":-C-4 District. Section 3. That the real property in the City of Hunt- ington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, describ- ed as follows: Located on approximately 2. 5 acres bounded by Beach Boulevard, Knoxville Street, Georgia Street and Joliet Street, Legally described as Block 1008-B and 1008-A, Vista Del Mar Tract, M.M. 4-36, is hereby reclassified from M-2-0 District to C-4 District. 2. Ord. No. 847 and that the real property in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange , State of California, described as follows: Located on approximately 7.5 acres of which 5 acres are .bounded by Georgia Street, Knoxville Street, Indianapolis Street and Florida Street; 2.5 .acres of the proposed zoning area are bound- ed by Beach Boulevard, Joliet Street, Georgia Street and Indianapolis Street, Legally described as Blocks 907-A, 907-B, 908-A, 908-B, 1007-A9 1007-B, Vista Del Mar Tract, M.M. .4-36 is hereby reclassified from M-2-0 District to R-3 District. Section 1+.
