AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNT INGT ON
BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH OR-
DINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION
7572.28 RELATING TO BEACH CURFEW.
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, Calif-
ornia, do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Section 7572.28 of the Huntington
Beach Ordinance Code is hereby amended, and as amended,
shall read in words and figures as follows :
Section 7572.2$. Beach Curfew. to be on the public
beach within the City of Huntington Beach, between the
hours of 12:01 A.M. and 5:00 A.M. of the same day, except
upon official business of the City of Huntington Beach.
In the event of special circumstances so warranting, the
City Administrative Officer, in his judgment, is hereby
authorized and empowered to modify, temporarily, the hours
during which the beaches are closed_ by first filing each
said modification, and the specified period thereof, with
the City Clerk and mailing a notice thereof to each council-
man at least ten (10) days prior to the time when each
said modification shall be effective. This does not apply
to the public buildings located on the Huntington Beach
beach.

Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the
same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington
Beach News, a weekly newspaper published', printed and cir-
culated in the City of Huntington Beach, Orange County,
California, and thirty (30) days after the adoption thereof,
the same shall take effect and be in force.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, this 7th day of August ,
1961.

that the whole number of members of the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing ordi-
nance was first read to said City Council at a regular meet-
ing thereof held on the 17th day of July , 1961, and
was again read to said City Council at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 7th day of August , 1961, -ard was
passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of more than a
majority of all the members of said_ City Council as follows:
