ORDINANCE No. 870 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HU TINGTON: BEACH RELATING TO ZONE CASES Nos. 2.9$ , 205, 208 and 210, AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING SECTIONS 9211.46 (Sectional District Maps. 11� ; 9211.4 (Sectional District Map 24-5-11) - 9211.42 (Sectional District Map 26-5-113 and 9211.47 (Sectional District Map 36-5-11) . WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held public hearings on Zone Cases Nos. 196, 205, 208 and 210, and recommended the change in the district classifi- cation as hereinafter sst out ; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held public hearings in said zone cases and now finds that public necessity, con- venience and the general welfare require the following amend- ment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach do ordain as follows : Section 1. That the real property in the City of Hunt- ington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Located west of Beach Boulevard and 480 ft. south of Ellis Avenue. , and legally described as; Lots 5 and 6 in Block 'H' of Tract 7 as recorded in Book 9, page 7 of M.M. . excepting therefrom the south. 50 ft. of lot g and also excepting therefrom the east 14 ft. of lots 5 and 6. Also known as 18601,18631 and 18621 Beach Boulevard, Huntington Beach, California 1. Res. No. 870 is hereby reclassified from R-L--X Suburban Residential Dis- trict as adopted by Interim Ordinance No. 668 to C-)+ High- way Commercial District with setback provisions. Section 2. That the real property in the City of Hunt- ington Beach, County of Orange , State of California, describ- ed as follows: Legally described as the west 330 ft. of the NUJ of the N1� as . of the N of Section 36-5-11 is hereby reclassified from R-fit--X Suburban Residential District as adopted by Interim Ordinance 668 to C-4 Highway Commercial District. Section 3. That the real property in the City of Hunt- ington Beach, County of Oran, State of California, described as follows: Located approximately 41+0 ft. north of Slater Aven- ue and east of Goldenwest Streets and legally de- scribed as all of Tract No. 562 per map recorded in M.M. 25-1+ recofds of Orange County, California:, all of Tract No. 274 per map recorded in said M.M. 13-52, all of Tract No. 275 per map recorded in said M.M. 1�_16, and the west 10 ft. of the south 160 ft. of Tract No. 265 per map recorded in said M.M. 13-4b. is hereby reclassified from A-1-X General Agricultural Dis- trict and M-1-X Light Manufacturing District as adopted by Interim Ord. No. 668 to R-1 Single Family Residence District. Section 4. That the real property in the City of Hunt- ington Beach County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: 2. Ord. Records of Orange County, lying southerly of that portion thereof granted to the Orange County Flood Control District by deed recorded Janu- ary 24, 1961, in book 5601, page 492, Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County, is hereby reclassified from R-1 Single Family Residence Dis- trict to C-4 Highway Commercial District with setback pro- visions. Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the pass- age and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly newspaper, printed , published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty (30) days after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect and be in force.
