HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #888 ORDINANCE No. 888 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI`.CY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO TRAILER PARKS ; AlvEND- ING SECTION 8720.1 OF THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE. The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach do ordain as follows: Section 1. That Section 8720.1 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code is hereby amended , and as amended, shall read in words and figures as follows: Section 8720.1. Unlawful Use. It shall be unlaw- ful for any person to occupy, as living quarters, any trail- er coach upon any area or tract of land within the City of Huntington Beach , except as follows: (a) A trailer coach may be parked and used as living quarters in a licensed trailer park. (b) A trailer coach may be parked for display, for sale , and/or trade purposes only on a trailer sales lot for which a current bus- iness license has been issued. (c) A trailer coach may be parked upon the streets within the City of Huntington Beach during the daylight hours , if not in viola- tion of any parking rule or regulation ap- plicable to the area. Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the pass- age and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News 1. Ord. No. 888 a weekly newspaper , printed, published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty days after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect and be in force.
