Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #890 ORDINANCE No. 890 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO ZONE CASES Nos. 221 and 222 AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING SECTION 9211.6 (Sectional District Map 1.7.-6-10) 1 No. 9211.61 (Sectional District Map 18-6-10) and SECTION 9211.39 (Sectional District Map 23-5-11) . WHEREAS, the Planning Con nission has given notices of and duly held public hearings on Zone Cases Nos. 221 and 222 and recommended the changes in the district classifi- cations as hereinafter set out; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held public hear- ings in said zone cases and now finds that public necessity, convenience and the general welfare require the following amendments and that the use and the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hunt- ington Beach does ordain as follows: Section 1. That the real. property in the City of Hunt- ington Beach, County of Orange, State of Calif ornia,describ- ed as follows: Located west of Beach Blvd. and approximately 1501 south of Holt, and legally described as, Lots 112, 113 and 114 of Tract No.1+17, and also known as 16281 Beach Boulevard, Huntington Beach, 1. i Ord. No. 890 is hereby reclassified from A-1-X General Agricultural Dis- trict, as adopted by Interim Ordinance No. 668 to C-4 Highway Commercial District, with setback provisions. Section 2. That the real property in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Located on Atlanta Ave. Hamilton Ave. , Banning Ave. , Brookhurst Street, Bushard Street and Cannery Street, and legally de- scribed as follows: The N 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 18-6-10 The N 1/2 of NE 1/4 of SW 1/1+ of Section 18-6-10 The S 1/2 of SW 1/4 of SE 1/1+ of Section 18-6-10 The SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of SW 1/4 of Section 18-6-10 The N 1/2 of NW 1/4- of SE 1/4 of Section 18-6-10 The E 1/2 of SE 1/4 of Section 18-6-10; and Also that portion of the SW 1/4 of Section 17-6-10 lying within the City of Huntington Beach is hereby reclassified from A-1-Y General Agricultural Dis- trict as adopted by Interim Ordinance No. 672 to M-1-A Re- stricted Manufacturing District. 2. That the real property in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Situated near Atlanta Avenue, Hamilton Avenue, Banning Avenue, Brookhurst Street, Bushard Street and Cannery Street, and legally described as : The S 3/4 of W 1/2 of NW 1/4 of Section 18-6-10 The N 3/4 of W 1/2 of SW 1/4 of Section 18-6-10 The N 3/4 of E 1/2 of SW 1/4 of Section 18-6-10, excepting therefrom the N 1/4 of said E 1/2 The S 3/4 of W 1/2 of SE 1/4 of Section 18-�;6-10 is hereby reclassified from A-1-Y General Agricultural District, as adopted by Interim Ordinance No. 672 to the M-1 Light Industrial District. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper printed, published and cir- culated in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty days after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect and be in force.
