AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH RELATING TO ZONE CASES Nos. 230,
231 and 232; AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON
BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY RECLASSIFYING
CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING SECTIONS
9211.4 and 9211.34 (Sectional District
IKaps Nos. 24-5-11 and 15-5-11) .
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of
and duly held a public hearing on Zone Cases Nos. 230, 2311
and 232 and recommended the change in the district classifi-
cation as hereinafter set out; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held public hear-
ings in said zone cases and now finds that public necessity
convenience and the general welfare require the following
amendments and that the use under the new classification
will not be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Councill of the City of Hunt-
ington Beach do ordain as follows.-
Section 1. That the real property in the City of Hunt-
ington Beach, County of Orange , State of California , describ-
ed as follows:
Located approximately 190 ft. south of Heil
Avenue and east of Beach Blvd. , and legally
described as portion of the NWT- of the SWj
of Section 24-5-11-

is hereby reclassified from R-1 Single Family Residence
District to C-4 Highway Commercial District, with setback
provisions.
Section 2. That the real property in the City of Hunt-
ington Beach, County of Orange , State of California, describ-
ed as follows:
Located at the Northwest corner of Edinger Aven-
ue and Edwards Street and legally described as
Lot 80, Tract 4276 ,
is hereby reclassified from R-1 Single Family Residence
District to C-4 Highway Commercial District with setback
provisions.
Section 3. That the real property in the City of
Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
Located at the northeast corner of Edinger Ave-
nue and Edwards Street and legally described as
Lot 59, Tract 4277,
is hereby reclassified from R-1 Single Family Residence
District to C-4 Highway Commercial District with setback
provisions.
Section 4. That Sections 9211.4 (Sectional District
Map 24-5-11) and 9211.34 (Sectional District Map 15-54' 11)

Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the pass-
age and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same
to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach
News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated
in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty (30)
days after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect
and be in force.
PASSED AIM ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, this 2nd day of April
1962.

ing City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach and ex-officio
Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby certify
that the whole number of members of the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing ordi-
nance was read to said City Council at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 19th day of March , 1962, and was
again read to said City Council at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 2nd day of April 1962, and was passed
and adopted by the affirmative vote of more than a majority
of all the members of said City Council.
