No. 936 ORDINANCE No. 936 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO ZONE CASES 277, 278, 279 and 280; AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING SECTIONS 9211.49 (Sectional District Map 6-6-10) and 9211.48 (Sectional District Map 5-6-10) . WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notices of and duly held public hearings on Zone Cases Nos. 277, 278 279 and 280 and recommended the changes in the district class- ifications as hereinafter set out; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held public hear- ings in said zone cases and now finds that public necessity, convenience and the general welfare require the following amendments and that the use under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hunt- ington Beach ordains as follows : Section 1. That the real property in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, de- scribed as follows: Located at the northwest corner of Adams Avenue and Bushard Street, and legally de- scribed as being a portion of the E 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of Section 6-6-10, Is hereby reclassified from A-1-Y General Agricultural Dis- trict, as adopted by Interim Ordinance No.. 672, to R-1 Single 1. Ord. No. 936 , Family Residence District. Section. 2. That the real property in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows : Located at the Northeast corner of Adams Avenue and Brookhurst Street and legally de- scribed as follows : Beginning at the intersection of center- line of Brookhurst Street and Adams Avenue; thence N 88 4.8' 35" E 1315.79 ft. along the centerline of Adams Avenue- thence N 10 11' 25" W 1032.84.4- ft; thence S 88 54' 51" W 1318.25 ft; to—:the centerline of Brookhurst Street; thence S l0 19t 35" E 1035. 25 ft. along the centerline of Brookhurst Street, to the point of beginning. is hereby reclassified from A-1-Y General Agr.icultura.l Dis- trict as adopted by Interim Ordinance No. 672, to C-2 Com- munity Business District with setback provisions. Section 3. That the real property in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows : Located north of Adams Avenue and east of Bushard Street, and legally described as the south 772 ft. of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 6-6-10' SBB & M, Is hereby reclassified from A-1-Y General Agricultural Dis- trict as adopted by Interim Ordinance No. 672 to A-3 Limit- ed Multiple Family District. Section 4. That the real property in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows : 2. I ` Ord. The City Clerk shall certify to the pass- age and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated In the City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty (30) days after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect and be in force.
