CASE N0. . 302; _ AMENDING-THE HUNTINGTON_ BEACH ORDINANCE CODE _BY RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING SECTION_9211.51 (Sectional District _Map 2-6-11) . - _ WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notices of . anlduly held public hearing: on Zone Case No. 302 and recom- mended the changes in the district classification as herein- after set out; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held public hearing in said zone case and now finds that public necessity, convenience and the general welfare require the following amendments and that the use under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hunt- ington Beach ordains as follows: Section1l. That the real property in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of Califouigia, described as follows: Located at the southeast corner of Clay Avenue and Huntington Street, and legally described as follows Those portions of Lots- 2803 and 2804, East Side Villa Tract, further described as follows: Beginning at a point on the N. line of said Lot 2804 and a distance of 236 ft. W. of the NE corner of said Lot 2804; thence S. parallel to the E. line of said Lot 2804; a distance of 130 ft; thence W. parallel to 1 . Ord. No. 950 the N. line of said Lot 2804; a distance of 224 ft; thence S. parallel to said E. line of said Lot 2804, a distance of 150 ft; thence W. parallel to said N. line of Lot 2804, a distance of 130 ft. to the W. line of said Lot 2803; thence N. along said W. line of Lot 2803 to the NW corner of said Lot 2803; thence E. along the N.line of said Lots 2803 and 2804 to the point of beginning. is hereby reclassified from R-2 Two Family Residence District to R-3 Multiple Family Residence District. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty (30) days after the adoption thereof, 'the same shall take effect and be in force.
