HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #962 ORDINANCE No. 962 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO ZONE CASE No, 313; AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY RECLASSIFYINGCERTAIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING SECTION 9211.42 (Sectional District Map 26_5-11) . WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held public hearing on Zone Case No, 313 and recommended the changes In the district classification as hereinafter set out; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing in said zone case and now finds that public necessity, conven- ience and the general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detri- mental to the surrounding property: NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach ordains as follows: Section 1. That the real property in the City of Hunting- ton Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Located north of Cypress Avenue and West of Elm Street and legally described as the N 1/2 of the E 1/2 of Lot 3, Block B. Tract 436, also the S 1/2 of the E 1/2 of Lot 3, Block B, Tract No. 436 is hereby reclassified from A_l_X General Agricultural Dis- trict, as adopted by Interim Ordinance No. 668 to R-2 Two 1 Ord. The City Clerk shall certify to the pass- age and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty (30) days after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect and be in force.
