AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY- OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH
ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO PLANNING
BY AMENDING SECTION 9480.2.
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
does ordain as follows :
Section 1. That Section 9480.2 of the Huntington
Beach Ordinance Code is hereby amended and as amended, shall
read In words and figures as follows:
Section 9480.2. Service Establishments. b. The follow-
ing services with indicated parking and yard requirements.
1. Automobile service stations (no major repairs9metal
work or painting; only new unused merdhandise may
be stored outside the main building).
2. Banks
3. Barber and beauty shops
4; Dressmaker or millinery shops
5. Laundry or cleaning agencies.hand laundries, and
self service laundries.
6. Hospitals, sanitariums or rest homes provided a
use permitis first approved.
7. Offices ; business or professional
8. Parking Lots
9. Public utility offices
Section 2. The City Cleft shall certify to the pass-
age 'and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same

to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach
News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated
in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty
(30 ) days after the adoption hereof the same shall take ef-
fect and be in force.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, this 24th day of
June 1963.

by certify that the whole number of members of the City
Council of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the
foregoing ordinance was -read to said City Council at a regu-
lar meeting thereof held on the 17th day of June —,1963.,
adjourned
and was again read to the said City Council at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 24tb day of June 1963.,
and was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of more
than a majority of all the members of said City Council.
