HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1047 ORDINANCE No. 1047 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH . ORDINANCE CODE BY ADDING SECTIONS 6302.1 AND 6431. The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : Section 1. That sections 6302.1 and -6431"are-lrereby added to the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code, to read in words and figures as follows: Section 6302.1.Standing Vehicle within 5 feet of railroad tracks. No person shall park or-leave standing any vehicle within five (5) feet of any railroad tracks wit-bin the City. Section 6431. Repairing Automobiles on Public Streets or Hishways. No person shall park, stop or leave stand- ing any vehicle for a period of time longer than .twelve (12) hours on any public street or highway in the City, unless such vehicle is in a condition to be lawfully oper- ated upon the public highways; and no person shall repair, dismantle, overhaul or do any mechanical work upon any ve- hicle on any part of any public street or highway in the City except to change rims, to replace flat tires, or to make other emergency repairs to enable such vehicle to be moved to the proper place for mechanical work. 1. Ord. No. 1047 Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the pass- age and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulat- ed in the City of Huntington Beach, California .
