AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH RELATING TO VEHICLES; AMENDING
THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY
RENUMBERING SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 60.
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does
ordain as follows:
Section 1. That sections of Chapter 60, are hereby
renumbered and as renumbered, shall read in words and figures,
as follows:
Section 6102.1. Repairing Automobiles on Public Streets
or Highways. No person shall park, stop or leave standing any
vehicle for a period of time longer than twelve (12) hours on
any public street or highway in the City, unless such vehicle
is in a condition to be lawfully operated upon the public high.-
ways; and no person shall repair, dismantle, overhaul or do any
mechanical work upon any vehicle or any part of any public street
or highway in the City except to change rims, to replace flat
tires, or to make other emergency repairs to enable such vehicle
to be moved to the proper place for mechanical work.
Section 6311.1. Standard Vehicle within 5 feet of
Railroad Tracks. No person shall park or leave standing any
vehicle within five (5) feet of any railroad tracks within
the City.

Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the pass.

to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach
News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach this 6th day of July, 19649

I, PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and acting
City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach and ex-officio Clerk of the
City Council of the City, do hereby certify that the whole number of
members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is five;
that the foregoing ordinance was read to said City Council at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 15th day of June 1964,
and was again read to said City Council at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 6th day of July , 1964, and was passed and
adopted by the affirmative vote of more than a majority of all the mem-
bers of said City Council.
