HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1129 ORDINANCE No. 1129 -- AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH OR- DINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTIONS OF ARTICLES glo, 916, 920, 923 and 960 RE- LATING TO RAIP R19 R2, A3 and R4 DISTRICTS. The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows: Section 1. That Sections 9106. 3 of Article 910, 9166.6 of Article 916, 9206.6 of Article 920, 9236.6 of Article 923 and 9606.3 of Article 960 of the Huntington. Beach Ordinance Code are hereby amended, and as amended, shall read in words and figures, as follows: Section 9106. 3. Lots AbuttingArterial Highway. When a lot abuts upon an arterial highway and an alley or local street, access to all garages, carports , or parking spaces shall be from such abutting alley or local street only and not from the arterial highway. When a lot abuts two arterial high- ways, access shall be subject to review and approval by the Director of Public Works. Section 9166.6. Lots Abutting_Arterial Highways. When a loot abuts upon an arterial highway and an alley or local street, access to all garages, carports, or parking spaces shall be from such abutting alley or local street only and not from the arterial highway. When a lot abuts two arterial highways, access shall be subject to review and approval by the Direct- or of Public Works. Section 9206.6. Lots Abutting Arterial Highways. When a lot abuts upon an arterial highway and an alley or local street, access to all garages, carports, or parking spaces shall be from such abutting alleyy or. local street only and, not from the arterial highway. or two arterial highways, access shall be subject to review and _a.pproval by the Direct- or of Public Works. The City Clerk shall certify to the pass. age and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to. be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, California.
