HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1215 ORDINANCE NO. 1215 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO ZONE CASE 66-16, AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY RECLASSIFYING DM-33 (SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 28-5-11) . The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : Section 1. That the real property in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California located on the east side of Bolsa Chica Road, approxi- mately 1000 feet south of Warner Avenue and legally des- cribed as : Parcel No. 1 That portion of the North one-half of the South one-half of the North one-half of the Northwest quarter of Section 28, in Township 5 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho La Bolsa Chica, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 51, page 13, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows : Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of the East 12 acres of the North one-half of the South one-half of the North one-half of said Northwest quarter, and running thence Easterly along the North line of said East 12 acres, 332.1 feet, more or less, to a point which is distant South 310 09 ' 18" West 771.E+5 feet from a point on the North line of said line from the Northwesterly corner of Section 28; thence south 310 091 18" West 385.72 feet, more or less, to the South line of said East 12 acres; thence Westerly along said South line and the Westerly prolongation thereof, to a point distant 149 feet Westerly from the Southwesterly corner of said East 12 acres, said point also being the Southeast cor- ner of land conveyed to Steverson Bros. Co . , a partnership, in deed recorded June 23, 1953, in book 2526, page 272, Official Records; thence North along a line parallel to the West line of said East 12 acres, to a point in the Westerly prolongation of the North line of said East 12 acres, said point also being the Northwest corner of land conveyed to A. L. Parmley and wife, in deed recorded January 13, 1956, in 1 Ord. No. 1215 book 3353, page 560, Official Records; thence East along the North line of said land conveyed to Parmley and along said Westerly prolongation of the Northerly line- of said East 12 acres, a distance of 149 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified from R-1 Single Family Residence District to R-2 Two Family Residence District and R-3 Limited Multiple Family Residence District . Parcel No . 2 The North one-half of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 28, in Township 5 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho La Bolsa Chica, as shown on a map thereof re- corded in book 51, page 13, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County; Excepting therefrom the Westerly 945 feet thereof; Also Excepting therefrom the Northerly 440 feet thereof, is hereby reclassified from R-1 Single Family Residence District to R-3 Limited Multiple Family Residence District. Parcel No . 3 That portion of the North one-half of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 28, in Township 5 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho La Bolsa Chica, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 51, page 13, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows : Beginning at a point in the Nort-erly line of said North one- half distant thereon 970 feet Easterly of the Northwesterly corner thereof and running thence Southerly parallel with the Westerly line of said North half 196 feet to the true point of beginning of the land described herein; thence from said true point of beginning, Easterly parallel with the Northerly line of said Section 28, 222 feet; thence Southerly, parallel with said Westerly line, 124 feet; thence Easterly to a point in the Easterly line of the North one-half of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 28, distant thereon 320 feet Southerly from the Northeasterly corner thereof; thence Southerly along said Easterly line 2 I Ord. No. 1215 120 feet to the Northeasterly corner of Parcel 2 of the land conveyed to W. A. Lunday, et al. , by deed recorded January 16, 1962, in book 5976, page 724, Official Records; thence Westerly along the Northerly line of said Parcel 2 conveyed to Lunday, et al. , to a point distant 25 feet Easterly from the Northwesterly corner of said Parcel 2; thence Northerly parallel with the Westerly line of said North one-half; 244 feet to the true poln.t of beginning, is hereby reclassified from R-1 Single Family Residence Dis- trict to R-3 Limited Multiple Family .Residence District . Parcel No. 4 South one-half of South one-half of North one-half- of North- west one-quarter of Section- 28 in Township 5 South, Range 11 West, in Rancho Bolsa Chica, as shown on a map thereof re- corded in book 51, page 13, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, as follows : Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of above described property and running thence Easterly along the South line of said property to a point on the said South line which is distant South 310 09 ' 18h' West 1542 . 89 feet from a point on the North line of said Section 28, which is distant 1795. 27 feet along said North line from the Northwesterly corner of said Section 28; thence North 310 09 ' 18" East 385.72 feet more or less to the North line of the first described prop- erty; thence West along the said North line to the Westerly line of said property; thence South along said Westerly line to the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified from R-1 Single Family Residence Dis- trict to R-2 Two Family Residence District and R.-3 Limited Multiple Family Residence District . Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty (30) days after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect and be in force .
