AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO ZONE CASE
67-2; AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE
CODE BY RECLASSIFYING DM-19 (Sectional Dis-
trict Map 17-6-10)
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does
ordain as follows :
Section 1. That the real property in the City of Hunt-
ington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, located
north of Hamilton Avenue and east of Brookhurst Street and
legally described as :
Parcel 1:
Lots 7
�3'4- 6'7 10,11,13,14,5,16,18&24-, 25, 26o36i3 '32
37,38,4�0, 3, , 5, , 7,50,51 52 53,55,5 ,57,59, , ,6 3,
69,71,75 and as to their or either of their interest in Lot
23, as to 1/2 thereof, of Tract No. 211, as shown on a map
recorded in book 13, page 4.0 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California.
Parcel 2:
Lof 17 of Tract No. 211, as per map recorded in book 13,
page 40 of Miscellaneous ;Maps, excepting therefrom all oil,
hydrocarbons, gas and other associated substances and other
minerals and kindred substances in and/or lying under said
land, together with the right of entry to the subsurface of
said property at any point 500 or more vertical feet below
the surface thereof, and- to take and remove any kind and all
of said substances from said property and reduce same to
possession but without the right of entry upon or from the
surface of said property as reserved by Ruth O'Mailia in a
deed recorded March 13, 1956 in book 3455, page 447 of Offic-
ial Records.
Parcel 3:
Lot 39 of Tract No. 211, as per map recorded in book 133,
page 40 of Miscellaneous Maps recorded in Orange County, Calif-
ornia. Excepting therefrom all minerals, oil., gas and other
hydrocarbon substances in or under a depth of 500 feet measur-
ed from the surface but without the right of entry upon the
surface for exploration or production thereof, as reserved in
the deed from Kermit P. Wood, a married man, recorded June 18,
1963 in book 6593, page 187 of Official Records.

California, EXCEPTING from Lot "F" that portion lying Easter-
ly of a line parallel to and 30 feet measured Westerly at
right angles from the Easterly line of Lot 75 of Tract No.
211, together with the right of ingress and egress as convey-
ed to the City of Santa Ana by deed recorded November 28,
1955 in book 3296, page 319 of Official Records and by deed
recorded December 27, 1955 in book 3331, page 297 of Official
Records.

49 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,Ca lifor-
nia, together r:ith that portion of Lot "A" of said Tract No.
193 lying between the extended east and Vest lines of said

EXCEPTING therefrom those portions lying Southeasterly of the
Northwesterly line of that certain right of way for outfall
sewer pipe lines over the Southeasterly portion of said Lots
61,65,66.67 and 68 as described in a Notice of Pendency of
Action recorded August 7, 1922 in book 5, page 245 of Notice
of Action in Case No. 13753 of the Superior Court of the
State of California, in and for the county of Orange, entit-
led city of Santa Ana vs. J. N. Hearn and others.

That portion of the West one half of Lot C lying between
the extended North and South lines of lots 24, 27. 28 and 31 of
Tract No. 193 as shown on a map recorded in book 12, page 49
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California

That portion of the East one half of Lot C lying between
the extended North and South lines of lot 55 of Tract No. 193
as shown on a map recorded in book 12, page 49, of Miscell-

North extension of the East line of Lot 38 and the North
extension of the East line of the West one-half of Lot C of

Orange County, California, lying Westerly of a line parallel
with the Easterly line of said lot 70 and 30 feet Westerly
therefrom measured at right angles.
Parcel 25:
Lots 74 and 75 of Tract No. 193 as per snap recorded in book
12, page 49 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County.
EXCEPTING therefrom those portions lying Southeasterly of the
Northwesterly line of that certain right of way for outfall.

Parcel 26: Lot 6 of Tract 193 as shown on a map recorded in
book 12, page 49 miscellaneous maps and records of Orange
County, California,
is hereby reclassified from R-A-O Residential Agricultural
District combined with oil production to C4 Highway Commercial
District with setback provisions .
Section 2 . The Planning Director of the City of
Huntington Beach is hereby directed and instructed. to change
DM-19 (Sectional District Map 17-6-10)
so as to show the zoning change described in Section 1 here-
of, and. as said district map shall have been so amended, the
same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of
the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code.
Section 3 . The City Clerk shall certify to the pass-
age and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same
to be published. by one insertion in the Huntington Beach
News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated.
in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and. thirty (30)
days after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect
and be in force .

Huntington Beach at a regular meeting held on the 17th day
of April 1967.
