HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1316 ORDINANCE No. 1316 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING'TO ZONE CASE No. 67-5; AMENDING THE HUNTING- TON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY RECLASSIFY- ING DM-12 (Sectional District Trap 11-6-11) The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : Section 1. That the real property in the City of Hunt- ington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, bounded by Atlanta Avenue on the south, Beach Boulevard on the east, Lake Avenue on the Viest and Indianapolis, Hartford and Memphis Avenues on the north and legally described as: A portion of Section 11-6-11 and all of the property bounded by the following described line : Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Beach Blvd. and Atlanta Avenue; thence running west- erly along the centerline of Atlanta Avenue to Lake Street; thence northerly along the centerline of Lake Street to I.7emphis Ave. ; thence easterly along the centerline of Memphis Ave. to Albama Street; thence southerly along the centerline of Alabama Street to Hartford Avenue; thence easterly along the Centerline of Hartford Avenue to Geneva Avenue; thence northeasterly along the centerline of Geneva Avenue to Indianapolis Avenue; thence easterly along the centerline of Indianapolis Avenue to Beach Blvd. ; thence southerly along the centerline of Beach Blvd. to the point of beginning, Is hereby reclassified from: 1. M-1-0 Light Industrial District combined with oil production to M-1 Light Industrial District; 2. R-5-0 Office-Professional District combined with oil production to R-5 Office-Professional District; 3. R-2-0 Two Family Residence District combined with oil production to R-2 Two Family Residence District; 1. Ord. NO. 1316 4. R-3-0 Limited multiple Family Residence District combined with oil production to R-3 Limited Mul- tiple Family Residence District; and 5- C-3-0 General Business District combined with oil production to C-3 General Business District with setback provisions. Section 2. The Planning Director of the City of Hunt- ington Beach is hereby Instructed and directed to change DM-12 (Sectional District Map 11-6-11) so as to show the zoning changes described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district maps shall have been so amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of the Hunt- ington Beach Ordinance Code. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News,, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty (30) days after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect and be In force.
