AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE
HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY
AMENDING SECTION 7502.2 DEFINING"BEACH"
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does
ordain as follows :
Section 1. That Section 7502.2 of the Huntington
Beach Ordinance Code is hereby amended and as amended, shall
read in words and figures as follows:
Section 7502.2 BEACH: "Beach" includes that strip of land
owned and/or operated by this City of Huntington Beach, lying
between Pacific Coast Highway in this City and the line of
ordinary tide of the Pacific Ocean, and any pier, jetty, or
arm thereof designed primarily to provide swimming, boating,
fishing, sightseeing, or other waterfront activities, except
that floor of the building commonly known as the Pavalon
which is level with said Pacific Coast Highway.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the pas-
sage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same
to be published by one inserting in the Huntington Beach
News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated
in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty (30)
days after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect
and be in force.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach, California, on the 19th day of A-June ,

of the City of Huntington Beach is seven; that the foregoing
ordinance was read to said City Council at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 5th day of June ,
19 67 , and was again read to said City Council at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 19th day of June ,
1967 , and was passed and ad&pted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council.
