HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1389 /�!S ORDINANCE No 1389 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO ZONE CASES— No. 67-35 and 67-36; AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY RECLASSIFYING DM-33 (Sectional District Map 28-5-4)and DM-20, (Sectional District Map 18-6-10) The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows: Section 1. That the real property in the City of Hunt- ington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, located on..- the northeast. corne'r of Banning Avenue and Bushard Street and legally described as : Lots 1 to 152 inclusive of Tract No. 5424 as per map recorded in Book 2369 pages 18 and 19 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, is hereby reclassified from R-2 Two Family Residence District to R-1 Single Family Residence District; and Section 2. That the real property in the City of Hunt- ington Beach, County of Orange, State of California , located on the southeast corner of Warner Avenue and Graham Street, and le- gally described as Lots 1 to 206 inclusive of Tract 5791 as per map re- corded in Book 236, Pages 21, 22 & 23 of Miscellaneous Map, records of Orange County, Ca lifornia, is hereby reclassified from R-3 Limited Multiple Family Residence District to R-1 Single Family Residence District. Section 3• The Planning Director of the City of Hunting- ton Beach is hereby directed and instructed to change: 1. Ord. No. 1389 DM-20 (Sectional District Map 18-6-10) and DM-33 (Sectional District Map 28-5-11) so as to show the zoning change described in Sections 1 and 2 hereof, abd as said district map shall have been so amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code. Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper, printed, published and circulated in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and thirty (30) days after the adoption thereof, the same shall take effect and be in force.
