Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #1418 ORDINANCE NO. 1418 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 906l THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING (ZONE CHANGE CASE No. 68-12) WHEREAS, pursuant to the Conservation and Planning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have held separate public hearings relative to Zone Change Case No. 68-12 wherein both bodies have carefully con- sidered all information presented at said hearings, and after due consideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Coun- cil, the City Council finds that said zone change is proper. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS : SECTION 1. The following described real property is hereby changed from C2, "Community Business District" to R3, "Limited Multiple-family Residence District : " That portion of the northeast quarter of Section 23, Township 5 South, Range 11 West, partly in the Rancho Las Bolsa,s, partly in the Rancho La, Bolsa, Chica,, all in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 51, Page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows : Beginning at the intersection of the south line of the north 50.00 feet of the southeast quar- ter of the northwest quarter of said northeast quarter with the east line of Sher Lane as de- 1 scribed in deed to the City of Huntington Beach, recorded December 7, 1961 in Book 5937, Page 35, Official Records; thence north 180.00 feet along said east line; thence east 346.00 feet parallel with the north line of said southeast quarter of the northwest quar- ter of the northeast quarter; thence south 100.00 feet parallel with said east line; thence east 554.00 feet ± parallel with said north line; thence south 80.00 feet parallel with said east line to the south line of the north 50.00 feet of the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of said northeast quar- ter; thence 900 feet ± to the point of be- ginning. SECTION 2. The zone map attached hereto is hereby adopted as part of the Sectional District Zoning Map of the City of Huntington Beach. SECTION 3 . Sectional District Map No. 23-5-11 is hereby amended by incorporating the zone map of the property herein- above designated, hereto attached and made a, part hereof by reference. SECTION 4. Section 9061, District Map 26 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Change Case 68-12, effective July, 1968. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News, a. weekly news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in Hunting- ton Beach, California,.
