Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #1455 ORDINANCE NO. 1455 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING DISTRICT MAP 26 TO INCLUDE PRE- CISE PLAN NO . 68-15 EXTENSION OF TERRY DRIVE WEST OF BEACH BOULEVARD WHEREAS, pursuant to the Conservation and Planning Law, the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach on October 1, 1968 , after notice duly given, held public hearing relative to Precise Plan No . 68-1 to extend Terry Drive west of Beach Boulevard; and On October 21, 1968, after notice duly given pursuant to law, hearing was held before this Council on the proposed ex- tension, and the matter having been considered, the Council finds that the extension of Terry Drive west of Beach Boulevard is reasonably necessary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic , for the preservation of the health and safety of the inhabitants of the city and for the orderly development of the community. Said extension of Terry Drive is more particularly described as follows : Those portions of the southeast quarter of Section 23, Township 5 South, Range 11 West , in the Rancho La Bolsa Chica, and in the Rancho Las Bolsas , City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, per map recorded in Book 51, Page 13, Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows : PARCEL 1 : the south 30 .00 feet of the northeast quarter of the above-mentioned southeast quarter. Excepting therefrom the east 30 . 00 feet and the west 600 .00 feet . PARC%/,'2 : The north 30 . 00 feet of the south- east," of the above-mentioned southeast quarter. Excepting therefrom the east 30 . 00 feet and the west 600 . 00 feet . 1 . NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby ordain as follows : SECTION 1 . That the property hereinabove described and shown on the map designated Exhibit "A" hereto attached and in- corporated herein, and made a part hereof by reference, is hereby adopted as Precise Plan No . 68-1 of the City of Hunting- ton Beach. SECTION 2 . That District Map 26 (Sectional District Map 23-5-11) is hereby amended to include Precise Plan No . 68-1, extension of Terry Drive west of Beach Boulevard. SECTION 3 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
