HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1460 ORDINANCE N0. 1460 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF GOLDENWEST STREET AND WARNER AVENUE (ZONE CHANGE CASE NO. 68-42) WHEREAS, pursuant to the Conservation and Planning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Change Case No. 68-42 wherein both bodies have carefully con- sidered all information presented at said hearings , and after due consideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property is hereby changed from R-A, "Residential Agricultural District," to R-3, "Limited Multiple-family Residence District : " The northerly 825 feet of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 27, Township 5 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Meridian, City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California. SECTION 2 . That the following described real property is hereby changed from R-A, "Residential Agricultural District" to C-4, "Highway Commercial District : " That part of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 27, Township 5 South, Range 11 West , San Bernardino Meridian, City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California described as follows : The northerly 310 feet except the westerly 300 feet , and the southerly 230 feet of the northerly 540 feet 1 . except the west westerly 760 feet . p y SECTION 3 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 32 (Sectional District Map 27-5-11) to incorporate the zone change described in Sections 1 and 2 hereof,, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said district map, as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 4. Section 9061, District Map 32 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Change Case No . 68-42 , effective January, 1969 . SECTION 5 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
