HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1472 ORDINANCE NO. 1472 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY GEN- ERALLY BOUNDED BY PALM AVENUE ON THE NORTHEAST, SEVENTEENTH STREET ON THE SOUTHEAST, OCEAN AVENUE ON THE SOUTHWEST AND GOLDENWEST STREET ON THE NORTHWEST (ZONE CHANGE CASE NO. 68-31) WHEREAS, pursuant to the Conservation and Planning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Change Case No. 68-31 wherein both bodies have carefully con- sidered all information presented at said hearings , and after due consideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property, located in a general area bounded by Palm Avenue on the northeast , Seventeenth Street on the southeast , Ocean Avenue on the south- west and Goldenwest Street on the northwest , is hereby changed from R-2-0, "Two-family Residence District" (combined with oil production) to R-2, "Two-family Residence District ; " R-3-0, "Limited Multiple-family Residence District" (combined with oil production) to R-3, "Limited Multiple-family Residence District;" R-4-0, "Multiple-family Residence District" (combined with oil production) to R-4, "Multiple-family Residence District ; " C-3-0, "General Business District" (combined with oil production) to C-3, "General Business District ; " and M-2-0, "Industrial District" (combined with oil production) to M-2, "Industrial District : " 1 . SECTION 2 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 10 (Sectional District Map 10-6-11) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said district map, as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. 2 . SECTION 3 . Section 9061, District Map 10 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Change Case No. 68-31, effective March, 1969 . SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
