HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1507 ORDINANCE NO. 1507 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF GOLDENWEST STREET AND SLATER AVENUE (ZONE CHANGE CASE NO . 69-15) WHEREAS, pursuant to the Conservation and Planning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Change Case No. 69-15 wherein both bodies have carefully con- sidered all information presented at said hearings , and after due consideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property, located on the northwest corner of Goldenwest Street and Slater Avenue, is hereby changed from R-A, "Residential Agricultural District" to R-1, "Single-family Residence District : " The south half of the northeast quarter, Sec- tion 27, Township 5 South, Range 11 West , S .B.B. &M. EXCEPT the north half of north half of south half of said northeast quarter. ALSO EXCEPT that portion lying westerly of the easterly boundary of Tract 6738, as per map recorded in Book 250 , pages 37 and 39 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California. SECTION 2 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 32 (Sectional a. District Map 27-5-11) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said district map, as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3 . Section 9061, District Map 32 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Change Case No . 69-15, effective August , 1969 . SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of July, 1969 .
