Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #1511 ORDINANCE NO. 1511 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN ADAMS AVENUE AND PORTLAND STREET, AND WEST OF HUNTINGTON AVENUE (ZONE CHANGE CASE No. 69-14) WHEREAS, pursuant to the Conservation and Planning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Change Case No. 69-14 wherein both bodies have carefully con- sidered all information presented at said hearings , and after due consideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1 . The following described real property, located between Adams Avenue and Portland Street , approximately 125 feet west of Huntington Avenue, is hereby changed from R-3-0 , "Limited Multiple-family Residence District" (combined with oil production) to C-4, "Highway Commercial District : " The south half of Lot 14 and all of Lot 13, Tract No. 73, City of Huntington Beach, as shown on map recorded in Book 10, page 21 of Miscellaneous Maps , Records of Orange County, California. SECTION 2 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 12 (Sectional District Map 11-6-11) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the s. e shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said district map, 1. as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3 . Section 9061, District Map 12 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Change Case No. 69-14, effective August , 1969 . SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
