Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #1541 ORDINANCE NO . 1541 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED 400 FEET SOUTH OF WARNER AVENUE, 660 FEET WEST OF EDWARDS STREET ( ZONE CHANGE CASE 69-12) WHEREAS, pursuant to the Conservation and Planning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Change Case No. 69-12 wherein both bodies have carefully con- sidered all information presented at said hearings , and after due consideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1 . The following described real property , located 400 feet south of Warner Avenue, 660 feet west of Edwards Street is hereby changed from R-1 "Single Family Residence District" to R-3 "Limited Multiple Family Residence District" : In the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California , being a portion of the North- east 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 27, Town- ship 5 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian and described as follows : Beginning at a point in the West line of said North- east 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 and which point is distant 460 . 00 feet measured South 00055 ' 50" East therealong from the Northwest corner of said North- east 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4; thence along a line parallel to the Northerly line of said Northwest 1/4, North 89°22110" .East 414 . 07 feet; thence South 00°55124" East 216 .14 feet ; South 89004 '36" West 100 . 00 feet; thence South 47013 ' S3" West to a point in a curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of 67 . 00 feet and to which point a radial bears North 47°13 ' 53" East; thence along said curve Northwesterly 1 . 55 . 32 feet through a central angle of 47°18 ' 12" to a tangent line; thence along said tangent line South 89055 , 41" West 50 . 00 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northerly having a radius of 43 . 00 feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve 24 . 96 feet through a central angle of 33"15 '42" to a point of compound curve with a curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of 123 . 00 feet; thence along said curve 42 . 24 feet Northwesterly through a central angle of 19040 ' 36" to a point of reverse curve with a curve concave Southwesterly having a padius of 180 . 00 feet; thence along said curve 168 . 07 feet Northwesterly through a central angle of 53°29149" to a point in said West line of the Northeast 1/4 of the NOrthwest 1/4; thence along said West line North 00055 ' 50" West 100 . 29 feet to the true point of beginning. SECTION 2 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 32 (Sectional District Map 27-5-11) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code. A copy of said district map , as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3 . Section 9061, District Map 32 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Change Case No . 69-12, effective January, 1970 • SECTION 4 . . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
