Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #1552 ORDINANCE NO . 1552 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING DISTRICT MAP 31 TO INCLUDE PRE- CISE PLAN NO. 69-3, ALIGNING PROSPECTIVE BELSITO DRIVE BETWEEN NICHOLS STREET AND EMERALD LANE WHEREAS, pursuant to the Conservation and Planning Law, par- ticularly Government Code Section, 65351 et seq. , the Planning Com- mission of the City of Huntington Beach on November 18 , 1969 , after notice duly given , held a public hearing relative to Precise Plan No. 69-3 to align prospective Belsito Drive between Nichols Street and Emerald Lane; and On December 8 , 1969, after notice duly given, hearing was held before this Council on the proposed street alignment , and the matter having been considered , the Council finds that the alignment of prospective Belsito Drive between Nichols Street and Emerald Lane is reasonably necessary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic , for the preservation of the health and safety of the inhabitants of the city, and for the orderly development of the community . NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby ordain as follows : SECTION 1. That the property hereinafter described and shown on the map designated Exhibit "A" hereto attached, incorporated here- in and made a part hereof by reference , is hereby adopted as Precise Plan No. 69-3 of the City of Huntington Beach. SECTION 2. District Map 31 (Sectional District Map 26-5-11) is hereby amended to include Precise Plan No . 69-3, aligning prospective Belsito Drive between Nichols Street and Emerald Lane . SECTION 3 . The precise alignment of prospective Belsito Drive , between Nichols Street and Emerald Lane, as shown on the map desig- nated Exhibit "A, " amended Sectional District Map 26-5-11, is herein- 1 . after more particularly described and shall be as follows : That portion of the east half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 26, Township 5 South, Range 11 West, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 51, page 13 , Mis- cellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Cali- fornia, described as follows : Beginning at the northwest corner of Tract 5326 , as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 190, pages 7 and 8, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said county; thence south 0044 ' 38" east, 609 .93 feet along the west line of said Tract 5326 to the true point of beginning and to a tangent curve concave northwesterly and having a radius of 24 . 00 feet ; thence southerly and westerly along said curve, an arc distance of 37 .77 feet through a central angle of 90010124"; thence south 8902514611 west, 262 .01 feet to a tangent curve concave northeasterly and having a radius 24. 00 feet ; thence westerly and northerly along said curve, an arc distance of 37 . 63 feet through a central angle of 89149143"; thence south 0044 ' 31" east, 100 .00 feet to a tangent curve concave southeasterly and having a radius of 24 . 00 feet ; thence northerly and easterly along said curve, an arc distance of 37 .77 feet through a central angle of 90010 '17" ; thence north 89025 , 46" east 262 . 01 feet to a tangent curve concave southwesterly and having a radius of 24 . 00 feet; thence easterly and southerly along said curve, an arc distance of 37 . 63 feet through a central angle of 89049 ' 36"; thence north 0044 ' 38" west, 100 . 00 feet to the true point of beginning. SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
