Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #1622 ORDINANCE NO. 1622 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF "ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON SOUTH SIDE OF HAMILTON AVENUE AND EAST OF BUSHARD STREET (ZONE CHANGE CASE NO. 70-25) WHEREAS, pursuant to the Conservation and Planning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Change Case No . 70-25 wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings , and after due consideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property , located on the south side of Hamilton Avenue, approximately five hundred feet east of Bushard Street , is hereby changed from C4 , "Highway Commercial District" to R2, "Two-family Residence District" as to Parcel I; and from R2 , "Two-family Residence District" to C4 , "Highway Commercial District" as to Parcel II : PARCEL I : That portion of the north half of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 18 , Township 6 South, Range 10 West , in the Rancho Las Bolsas , as shown on a map re- corded in Book 51, page 14, Miscellaneous Maps , Orange County , California described as follows : The south 151 . 59 feet of Parcel 4 , as shown on a map filed in Book 23, page 28 of Parcel Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County, California. PARCEL II : That portion of the north half of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of 1 . Section 18, Township 6 South, Range 10 West , in the Rancho Las Bolsas , as shown on a map re- corded in Book 51, page 14 , Miscellaneous Maps , Orange County, California described as follows : The north 197 . 00 feet measured along the wester- ly line of the westerly 92 . 00 feet , measured along the northerly line of Parcel 3 , as shown on a map filed in Book 15, page 30 of Parcel Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County, California. SECTION 2 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 20 (Sectional District Map 18-6-10) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said dis- trict map, as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3 . Section 9061, District Map 20 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Change Case No. 70-25, effective February, 1971 . SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper of gen- eral circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, Cali- fornia.
