Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #1658 ORDINANCE NO. 1658 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN BEACH BOULEVARD AND NEWLAND STREET FROM ADAMS AVENUE TO A POINT 1980 FEET SOUTH (ZONE CHANGE NO. 71-11) WHEREAS , pursuant to the Conservation and Planning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Change Case No . 71-11 wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings , and after due consideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1 . The following described real property is hereby changed from RA-0 , "Residential Agricultural District" combined with oil production, and RA-01 , "Residential Agricultural District" combined with oil production, to RA-01, "Residential Agricultural District" combined with oil production : PARCEL "A: " All that portion of the northwest quarter of Section 12 , Township 6 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Las Bolsas , City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange , State of California, as per map recorded in Book 51, page 14 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows : Beginning at the northwest corner of said northwest quarter; thence north 89048 ' 32" east , along the north line of said northwest quarter, 608 .13 feet; thence south 0039 ' 39" east , 359 .59 feet to the be- ginning of a curve concave westerly and having a 1. radius of 1650 .00 feet ; thence southerly along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 10039 '30" , a distance of 306 .94 feet to the true point of beginning, a radial bearing through said point being north 80000109" west; thence north 89048 '32" east 80 .00 feet ; thence south 0039 ' 39" east 300 .00 feet ; thence north 89048 '32" east 460 .00 feet; thence south 0039 ' 39" east 145 .00 feet ; thence south 89048 ' 32" west 581 . 76 feet to a point on a curve concave easterly and having a radius of 1550 . 00 feet , a radial bearing through said point be- ing north 86034 ' 35" east; thence northerly along the arc of said curve., through a central angle of 14056 ' 32" , a distance of 404 .23 feet to the beginning of a re- verse curve concave westerly and having a radius of 1650 .00 feet , a radial bearing through said point being north 78028 ' 53" west ; thence northerly along the arc of said curve , through a central angle of 1031116" , a distance of 43 . 80 feet to the true point of beginning. SECTION 5 . The following described real property is hereby changed from RA-0 , "Residential Agricultural District" combined with oil production, to Rl, "Single-family Residence District : " PARCEL "E: " The east half of the northwest quarter, excluding therefrom the southerly 660 .63 feet of Section 12 , Township 6 South, Range 11 West , in the Rancho Las Bolsas , City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange , State of California. SECTION 6 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 13 (Sectional District Map 12-6-11) to incorporate the zone change described in Sections 1 through 5 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said district map, as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk . SECTION 7 . Section 9061, District Map 13 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Change Case No . 71-11, effective August , 1971 . SECTION 8 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly newspaper of gen- eral circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, Cali- fornia.
