ORDINANCE NO. 176O AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WEST OF INTERSECTION OF MAIN STREET AND UTICA AVENUE (ZONE CASE NO. 72-16, ISLAND "F" ) WHEREAS, pursuant to the Conservation and Planning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case No . 72-16, Island "F" wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings , and after due consideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property, located 1130 feet west of the intersection of Main Street and Utica Avenue, is hereby changed from R1-0 to R1-01, and from R1-01 to R1-0, "Single-family Residence District" combined with oil pro- duction: Those portions of Lots A and B of Tract No . 260 in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 13, page 34 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county, to- gether with that portion of Wesley Avenue as shown on the map of said Tract No . 260, vacated by reso- lution of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, a copy of which was recorded September 12, 1966 in Book 8044, page 78 of Official Records of said county, and portions of Parcels 1, 2 , 3 and 4 of a parcel map recorded in Book 40, page 40 of Parcel Maps in the office of the County Recorder of 1 . said county, more particularly described as follows : WELL ISLAND "F: " Beginning at the center line intersection of Goldenwest Street and Mansion Avenue as said intersection is shown on the map of said Tract No . 260; thence southeasterly along the center line of Mansion Avenue south 89140101" east 37 . 84 feet ; thence southwesterly along the boundary line of above referenced Parcel Map south 0017120" west 1341. 09 feet to the true point of beginning; thence north 0017120" east 69 . 84 feet along last said boundary line; thence south 89041 , 14" west 76 . 04 feet; thence south 0005 , 14" west 70 . 02 feet; thence .south 89057 , 46" east 20 . 00 feet; thence south 0005 ,14" west 285 . 06 feet; thence south 89057146" east 120 . 03 feet; thence north 0005 ' 14" east 45. 00 feet; thence south 89057 , 46" east 119 . 94 feet; thence north 0009 ' 18" east 239 . 66 feet to a point along the northerly boundary line of above ref- erenced parcel map; thence northwesterly along the last said boundary , north 89038 ' 16" west 184 . 46 feet to the true point of beginning, containing 1. 57 acres . SECTION 2 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 2 (Sectional District Map 2-6-11) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said district map, as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3 . Section 9061, District Map 2 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Case No . 72-16, Island "F, " effective August, 1972 . SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
