HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1775 ORDINANCE NO. 1775 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION go61 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WEST OF CRYSTAL STREET APPROXIMATELY 275 FEET SOUTH OF GARFIELD AVENUE (ZONE CASE NO. 72-23) WHEREAS , pursuant to the Conservation and Planning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case No . 72-23 wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings , and after due con- sideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council , the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property, located west of Crystal Street approximately 275 feet south of Garfield Avenue is hereby changed from RA-0 "Residential Agricultural District combined with oil production" to Ml "Light Industrial District : " Lot 27 , Block C , of Garfield Street addition to Huntington Beach, County of Orange , State of California. SECTION 2 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 2 (Sectional District Map 2-6-11) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect. and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said district map , as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk . 1 . SECTION 3 . Section 9061, District Map 2 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Case No . 72-23 , effective October, 1972 . SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
