HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1781 ORDINANCE NO. 1781 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED 200 FEET SOUTH OF WARNER AVENUE, APPROXIMATELY 920 FEET EAST OF BOLSA CHICA STREET (Zone Case No . 71-20 Area "L") WHEREAS , pursuant to the Conservation and Planning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case No. 71-20 Area "L" wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings , and after due consideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE , the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property, located 200 feet south of Warner Avenue , approximately 920 feet east of Bolsa Chica Street is hereby changed from R3 "Limited Multiple Family Residence District" to R2 "Two Family Residence District : " Starting at the centerline of the intersection of Bolsa Chica Road and Warner Avenue thence North 89024125" East 970 feet along the centerline of Warner Avenue thence South 0057 ' 51" East 196 feet to the true point of beginning, thence South 0057 '51" East 244 feet thence South 89019153" West 25 feet thence South 0057 ' 51" East 221 .39 feet thence South 89019 ' 53" West 26 .6 feet thence South 0°57 ' 51" East 330 feet thence North 89019 '53" East 139 .61 feet thence North 30000 ' 53" East 174 feet thence North 0057 ' 51" West 185 feet thence North 89019 '53" East 176 .51 feet thence North 0°57 ' 51" West 341. 39 feet thence South 89119 ' 53" West 128 feet thence North 0057 ' 51" West 124 feet thence South 89024125" West 222 feet to the true point of beginning. SECTION 2 . The Planning Director of the City of 1 . Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 33 (Sectional District Map 28-5-11) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said district map, as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3 . Section 9061, District Map 33 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Case No . 71-20 Area "L," effective November, 1972 . SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
