Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #1794 ORDINANCE NO. 1794 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN INDIANAPOLIS AVENUE AND A POINT AP- PROXIMATELY 600 FEET NORTH OF ATLANTA AVENUE ON THE WEST SIDE OF BEACH BOULEVARD (ZONE CASE NO. 72-33 ) WHEREAS , pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case No. 72-33 wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings , and after due con- sideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property, located between Indianapolis Avenue and a point approximately 600 feet north of Atlanta Avenue , on the west side of Beach Boulevard, is hereby changed from R5 , "Office-Professional District" to MH, "Mobilehome District : " Beginning at a point distant South 0043124" East 30 .00 feet along the centerline of Delaware Street from the centerline intersection of said Delaware Street and Frankfort Avenue as said inter- section is shown on a Parcel Map recorded in Book 21 page 24 of Parcel Maps , Records of Orange County, California; thence along the Westerly prolongation of the South line and along the South line of Frankfort Avenue , 60 .00 feet wide, parallel with and distant 30 .00 feet South from the centerline of said Frankfort Avenue the following course and distances ; North 8901614411 East 276 .55 feet to the beginning of a 1 . tangent curve concave Northwesterly, having a radius of 410 .30 feet ; thence Northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 46028 , 4811 an arc length of 332 . 85 feet ; thence tangent to said curve North 42047 ' 5611 East 615 .43 feet ; thence departing from said South line of Frankfort Avenue North 5101611611 East 410 .00 feet to a point East of Section 11, Township 6 South, Range 11 West , said point also being in the Survey center- line of Beach Boulevard as shown on said aforementioned Parcel Map; thence South 0051120// East along said East section line and said survey centerline 1,881 .56 feet ; thence South 8903412014 West 1,239 . 84 feet to a point in the centerline of Delaware Street as described in a deed to the City of Huntington Beach recorded in Book 10277 , page 421 of Official Records of Orange County , California; thence along the centerline of said Delaware Street the following courses and distances ; North 0043124" West 60 . 32 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of 1,000 .00 feet ; thence Northwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 16°48 ' 35" an arc length of 293 . 38 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of 1,000 .00 feet; a radial bearing passing through said beginning bears North 72°28101" East; thence Northerly along said curve through a central angle of 16048 ' 35" an arc length of 293 . 38 feet ; thence tangent to said curve North 0043124" West 410 .00 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 40 .177 acres . SECTION 2 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 12 (Sectional District Map 11-6-11) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said district map , as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk . SECTION 3 . Section 9061, District Map 12 -thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Case No. 72-33 , effective January , 1973 • SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington 2 .
