Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #1854 ORDINANCE NO . 1854 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF DELAWARE STREET, NORTH OF GARFIELD AVENUE (ZONE CASE NO. 73-5) WHEREAS , pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case No. 73-5 wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings , and after due con- sideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property, located on the west side of Delaware Street , approximately 620 feet north of Garfield Avenue, is hereby changed from R2 , "Medium Density Residential District" to R5 , "Office Professional District : " Lot 5 , Block F, Tract 7 , City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange , State of California. SECTION 2 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 39 (Sectional District Map 35-5-11) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said district map, as amended hereby, is available for 1 . ahb - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - --- inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3 . Section 9061, District Map 39 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Case No. 73-5, effective July, 1973 • SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
