HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1902 ORDINANCE NO. 1902 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTIONS o041, oo43 AND o044 PER- TAINING TO VIOLATIONS OF SAID CODE The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1 . Sections 0041, 0043 and 0044 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code are hereby amended to read as follows : 0041. VIOLATION. MISDEMEANOR. Any person who violates or wilfully fails to comply with any provision of this code is guilty of a misdemeanor except where otherwise expressly provided in this code . oo43. PENALTY. MISDEMEANOR. Any person convicted of a misdemeanor under the provisions of this code (unless otherwise provided herein) shall be punishable by imprisonment in the city jail of the City of Huntington Beach or in the county jail of Orange County not exceeding six ( 6) months , or by fine not ex- ceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500) , or by both fine and im- prisonment . 0044. PENALTY. INFRACTION. Any person convicted of an infraction under the provisions of this code shall be punish- able by a fine not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500) , un- less otherwise provided herein. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the pas- sage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
