Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #1946 ORDINANCE NO. 1946 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING DISTRICT MAP 24 TO INCLUDE PRECISE PLAN NO. 74-1 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law, par- ticularly Government Code Sections 65351 et seq. , the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, after notice duly given, held a public hearing on September 4, 1974 to increase the right of way width at the east end of Fernhill Circle to 54 feet and to 60 feet at its intersection with Graham Street; and After notice duly given, public hearing was set before this Council for October 7, 1974 and was continued to and con- cluded on October 21, 1974, and the matter having been con- sidered, the Council finds that said Precise Plan No. 74-1 is reasonably necessary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic, for the preservation of the health and safety of the inhabitants of the city, and for the orderly development of the community, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. That the real property hereinafter described and shown on the map marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto, in- corporated herein and by reference made a part hereof, is hereby designated and adopted as Precise Plan No. 74-1 of the City of Huntington Beach. SECTION 2. District Map 24 (Sectional District Map 21-5-11) is hereby amended to include Precise Plan No. 74-1 to increase the right of way width at the east end of Fernhill Circle to 54 feet and to 60 feet at its intersection with 1. JOC : ahb Graham Street. SECTION 4. The precise plan, as shown on the map marked Exhibit "A, " amending Sectional District Map 21-5-11, is here- inafter more particularly described and shall be as follows : That portion of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 21, Township 5 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho La Bolsa Chica, city of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows : Beginning at the northwest corner of Tract No. 4680, as shown on a map recorded in Book 175, page 40 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county, said corner lies on the center line of Graham Street; thence north 891 40' 21" east 595. 88 feet along the north line of said Tract No. 4680 to a point on a nontangent curve con- cave to the southwest having a radius of 60. 00 feet, a radial line to said point bears north 68°09144" east; thence northwesterly, westerly and southwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 112022 ' 56" an arc distance of 117. 69 feet to a reverse curve concave to the northwest having a radius of 60. 00 feet; thence southwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 44013112" an arc distance of 46. 31 feet to a line parallel with and 4. 00 feet northerly, measured at right angles from the north line of said Tract No. 4680; thence south 89040121" west 266 . 20 feet along said line; thence north 0019' 39" west 4. 00 feet to a line parallel with and 8. 00 feet northerly, measured at right angles, from the north line of said Tract No. 4680; thence south 89040121" west 118. 49 feet along said line to a curve concave to the northeast having a radius of 32. 00 feet; thence northwesterly along said curve through central angle of 89032' S5" an arc distance of 50. 01 feet to a nontangent line; thence south 89113 ' 55" west 40. 00 feet along said line to the center line of Graham Street as shown on the map of said Tract No. 4680; thence south 0046 , 44" east 39. 43 feet along the center line of Graham Street to the point of be- ginning. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly news- 2. paper of general publication, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
