AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON
BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING DISTRICT MAP
39 TO INCLUDE PRECISE PLAN NO. 74-3 WHICH
REALIGNS AN UNNAMED STREET LOCATED PARALLEL TO
AND EAST OF THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD RIGHT-
OF-WAY FROM TALBERT AVENUE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law, par-
ticularly Government Code Sections 65351 et seq. , the Planning
Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, after notice duly
given, held a public hearing on October 15, 1974 to realign an
unnamed street located parallel to and approximately 290 feet
east of the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way from Talbert
Avenue to a point 780 feet south of the center line of Talbert
Avenue; and
On November 18, 1974, after notice duly given, hearing was
held before this Council, and the matter having been considered,
the Council finds that said Precise Plan No. 74-3 is reasonably
necessary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic, for the
preservation of the health and safety of the inhabitants of the
city, and for the orderly development of the community,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach does ordain as follows :
SECTION 1. That the real property hereinafter described
and shown on the map marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto, incorporated
herein and by reference made a part hereof, is hereby designated
and adopted as Precise Plan No. 74-3 of the City of Huntington
Beach.
SECTION 2. District Map 39 (Sectional District Map 35-5-11)
is hereby amended to include Precise Plan No. 74-3 , to realign
an unnamed street which is parallel to and east of the Southern
Pacific Railroad right-of-way from Talbert Avenue.

SECTION 3. The precise plan, as shown on the map marked
Exhibit "A," amending Sectional District Map 35-5-11, is herein-
after more particularly described and shall be as follows :
That portion of Block B, Tract 570 in the City
of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of
California as shown on a map recorded in Book 19,
page 71 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of said County described as follows :
Parcel 1: A strip of land 45. 00 feet in width,
the centerline being described as follows :
Beginning at intersection a line parallel with
and 320. 06 feet easterly, measured at right angles
from the west line of said Block B with the north line
of said Block B; thence south 0046105" east 458. 00
feet along said parallel line to a point distant on
said parallel line 201. 03 feet northerly from its
intersection with the south line of said Block B, said
point being the beginning of a tangent curve concave
to the northeast having a radius of 122 . 00 feet; thence
southeasterly along said curve through a central angle
of 45000 ' 001" an arc distance of 95. 82 feet to a line;
thence south 45046105" east 79. 57 feet to a curve
concave to the northeast having a radius of 122 . 00
feet; thence southeasterly along said curve through a
central angle of 4500511411 an arc distance of 96 . 00
feet to a line parallel with and 22. 5 feet northerly
measured at right angles from the south line of said
Block B; thence north 89008, 41" east 141. 58 feet along
said line to a point on the east line of said Block B,
said point being the terminus of the described center-
line.
Parcel 2: That portion of the west one-half
N1/2 of said Block B lying northeasterly of a curve
concave to the southwest having a radius of 39. 50 feet
being tangent on the east to the west line of Parcel 1
described above and being tangent on the north to the
south line of the north 20. 00 feet of said Block B.
Parcel 3: That portion of the east one-half
(El/2) of said Block B lying northwesterly of a curve
concave to the southeast having a radius of 39. 50 feet
being tangent on the west to the east line of Parcel 1
described above and being tangent on the north to the
south line of the north 20. 00 feet of said Block B.

SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days
after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen
days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly news-
paper of general publication, printed and published in Huntington
Beach, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 16th
day of December, 1974.
