HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1964 j ORDINANCE NO. 1964 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF WARNER AVENUE BETWEEN EDGEWATER LANE AND SCEPTRE LANE (ZONE CASE NO. 73-30) WHEREAS, pursuant to the state Planning and Zoning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case No. 73-30 wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings, and after due con- sideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property, located on the north side of Warner Avenue between Edgewater Lane and Sceptre Lane, is hereby changed from Rl, "Low Density Resi- dential District" to ROS, "Recreational Open Space District : " Those portions of fractional Section 29 , Township 5 South, Range 11 West , in the Rancho La Bolsa Chica, City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map re- corded in Book 51, page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows : PARCEL 1 . Lot 174 of Tract No . 4880 as shown on a map recorded in Book 172 , page 12 of Miscella- neous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county . 1. /ahb PARCEL 2 . That portion of Lot 3 of Tract No. 5774 as shown on a map recorded in Book 210, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows : A strip of land 13 . 00 feet in width, the easterly line being the west line of the before mentioned Lot 174 of Tract No . 4880, being bounded on the north by the north line of said Lot 3 and bounded on the south by the south line of said Lot 3 . PARCEL 3 . That portion of land shown on a map filed in Book 58, page 35 of Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of said county , as shown on a map of the before mentioned Tract No. 5775 bounded on the east by the west line of the before mentioned Lot 174 of Tract No . 4880 and bounded on the north, west and south by the easterly line of said Tract No . 5775 . SECTION 2 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 34 (Sectional District Map 29-5-11) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall be in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said district map, as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3 . Section 9061, District Map 34 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Case No. 73-30, effective March, 1975 . SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
