Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #1999 ORDINANCE NO. 1999 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF YORKTOWN AVENUE TO UTICA AVENUE, AND SOUTH OF WICHITA AVENUE TO UTICA AVENUE (ZONE CASE NO. 75-3 "A" ) WHEREAS, pursuant to the state Planning and Zoning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case No. 75-3 "A" wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings , and after due con- sideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property , located south of Yorktown Avenue to Utica Avenue between Delaware Street and Huntington Street, and south of Wichita Avenue to Utica Avenue between Huntington Street and Alabama Street, is hereby changed from M2-0 and M2-0-CD, "Heavy Industrial District" com- bined with oil production in the Civic District to R2-0 and R2-0-CD, "Medium Density Residential District" combined with oil production. in the Civic District : Block 2102 and Block 2202 of the Vista Del Mar Tract in the City of iiuntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, page 15 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county. Together with Blocks 2103, 2104, 2203 , 2204, 2303, 2304, 1. JOC :ahb i 2403 and 2404 of the East Side Villa Tract in the city of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, page 65 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county. SECTION 2 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 2 (Sectional District Map 2-6-IT) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, .the .same shall be in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said district map, as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3. Section 9061, District Map 2 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Case No. 75-3 "A" . Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the pas- sage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly newspaper -of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
