ORDINANCE N0. 2002 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LAKE STREET AND SEVENTEENTH STREET (ZONE CASE NO. 75-3 "D") WHEREAS, pursuant to the state Planning and Zoning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Change No. 75-3 "D" wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings, and after due con- sideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property located on the southeast corner of Lake Street and Seventeenth Street is hereby changed from M2-0-CD, "Heavy Industrial District" com- bined with oil production in the Civic District to R2-0-CD, "Medium Density Residential District" combined with oil produc- tion in the Civic District: That portion of the north half of Section 2, Township South, Range 11 West in the Rancho Las Bolsas , city of Huntington Beach, County of Orar;ge, State of California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 14 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county, de- scribed as follows : Beginning at the .northwest corner of Block 1900 of Tract No. 12 as shown on a map recorded in Book 9, page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps in the 1. JOC: ahb office of the County Recorder of said county thence easterly along the north line of said Block 1900 and its easterly extension 172. 1 feet more or less to the east line of the South Pacific Transportation Company right of way being parallel with and 40 . 00 feet easterly, measured at right angles , from the east line of said Block 1900; thence southerly 200 . 00 feet along said line to a line parallel with and 200. 00 feet southerly, measured at right angles from the north line of said Block 1900; thence westerly 172. 1 feet more or less along said line to the west line of said Block 1900; thence northerly along said west line 20000 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2 . The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 2 (Sectional District Map 2-6-IT) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall be in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code. A copy of said district map, as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3. Section 9061, District Map 2 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Case No. 75-3 nDn . Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the pas- sage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
