Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #2005 i ORDINANCE NO. 2005 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING DISTRICT MAP 33 TO INCLUDE PRECISE PLAN NO. 75-5 WHICH EXTENDS AN UNNAMED STREET NORTHERLY FROM VINELAND DRIVE TO WARNER AVENUE PARALLEL TO AND WEST OF NEWQUIST STREET WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law, par- ticularly Government Code Sections 65351 et seq. , the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, after notice duly given, held a public hearing on June 17, 1975 on Precise Plan No. 75-5 to extend an 'unnamed street northerly from Vineland Drive to Warner Avenue parallel to and approximately 200 feet west of Newquist Street; and On July 21, 1975, after notice duly given, hearing was held before this Council, and the matter having been considered, the Council finds that said Precise Plan No . 75-5 is reasonably necessary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic, for the preservation of the health and safety of the inhabitants of the city, and for the orderly development of the community, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. That the real property hereinafter described and shown on the map marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto, incor- porated herein and by reference made. a part hereof, is hereby designated and adopted as Precise Plan No. 75-5 of the City of Huntington Beach. SECTION 2. District Map 33 (Sectional District Map 28-5-11) is hereby amended to include Precise Plan No. 75-5, to extend an unnamed street northerly from Vineland Drive to Warner Avenue parallel to and approximately 200 feet west of Newquist Street . JOC: cs 1. SECTION 3. The precise plan, as shown on the map marked Exhibit "A, " amending Sectional District Map 28-5-11, is herein- after more particularly described and shall be as follows : Those portions of the north one-half of the northwest one-quarter of Section 28, Township 5 South, Range 11 West, in the city of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 51, page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps as recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows : Parcel No. 1: A strip of land 54. 00 feet wide lying 27.00 feet either side of the following described line: the east line of the west 1452. 89 feet of the north 661. 56 feet of said north one-half. Parcel No . 2: Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot No. 144 of Tract No . 5792 as per map recorded in Book 220, page 9 of Miscellaneous Maps, recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County; thence south 0°57 '51" east 20 .00 feet to the south line of said north one-half; thence along said south line south 89119' 53" west 99 .00 feet; thence north 0°57 ' 51" west 20. 00 feet to a line, said line being parallel with and 20. 00 feet northerly, measured at right angles from the south line of said north one-half; thence along said line north 89019 '53" east 99 .00 feet to the True Point of Beginning. SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
