ORDINANCE NO. 2010 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 1500 FEET SOUTHWESTERLY OF THE INTERSECTION OF TALBERT AVENUE AND EDWARDS STREET (ZONE CASE NO. 74-5) WHEREAS, pursuant to the state Planning and Zoning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Change No. 74-5 wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings, and after due con- sideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property located approximately 1500 feet southwesterly of the intersection of Talbert Avenue and Edwards Street is hereby changed from R2-PD-14, "Medium Density Residential District - Planned Development" and C4, "Highway Commercial District" to Rl, "Low Density Residential District : " In the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, being those portions of the northeast quarter of Section 33 and the northwest quarter of Section 34, Township 5 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho La Bolsa Chica, as said sections are indicated on a map recorded in book 51, page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps , in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows : PARCEL I (R2-PD-14 to Rl) : Beginning at the northwest corner of said northwest quarter of Section 34; thence along the northerly er7 1. line of said northwest quarter, North 8902212811 East 150. 00 feet; thence South 82052132" East 469 . 00 feet; thence South 66022132" East 200. 00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence South 21005100" West 675. 00 feet; thence South 31015100" West 1045. 00 feet; thence South 56030100" East 435. 00 feet; thence North 38000100" East 930. 00 feet; thence North 47000 ' 00" East 775. 00 feet; thence North 51012' 32" West 615. 00 feet; thence North 66022132" West 266. 00 feet to the true point of beginning. SECTION 2. The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Maps 37 and 38 to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district maps shall have been amended, the same shall be in full force and effect and be a part of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code. Copies of said district maps , as amended hereby, are available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3. Section 9061, District Maps 37 and 38 thereof, are hereby amended by Zone Change No. 74-5 . SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the pas- sage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California. 2.
