AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE
BY AMENDING DISTRICT MAP 18 TO INCLUDE PRECISE
PLAN NO. 76-2 WHICH MODIFIES THE ALIGNMENT OF
MCFADDEN AVENUE AT THE WESTERLY BOUNDARY OF
THE INDUSTRIAL PROPERTIES LOCATED APPROXIMATELY •
1,480 FEET EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF BOLSA
CHICA STREET RESULTING IN A STREET OPENING
TO BE LOCATED BETWEEN TWO PROPOSED CUL-DE-SAC
STREETS
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law, par-
ticularly Government Code Sections 65351 et seq. , the Planning
Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, after notice duly
given, held a public hearing on May 18, 1976 on Precise Plan
of Street Alignment No . 76-2 to modify the alignment of
McFadden Avenue at the westerly boundary of the industrial
properties located approximately 1, 480 feet east of the center-
line of Bolsa Chica Street resulting in a street opening
approximately twenty-four (24) feet in width and twenty (20)
feet in length to be located between two proposed cul-de-sac
streets; and
On June 7, 1976, after notice duly given, hearing was held
before this Council, and the matter having been considered, the
Council finds that said Precise Plan No. 76-2 is reasonably
necessary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic , for
the preservation of the health and safety of the inhabitants
of the city, and for the orderly development of the community,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach does ordain as follows :
SECTION 1. That the real property hereinafter described
and shown on the map marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto, incor-
porated herein and by reference made a part hereof, is hereby
II designated and adopted as Precise Plan No. 76-2 of the City
of Huntington Beach.

SECTION 2. District Map 18 (Sectional District Map 16-5-11)
is hereby amended to include Precise Plan No . 76-2, to modify
the alignment of McFadden Avenue at the westerly boundary of
the industrial properties located approximately 1,480 feet east
of the centerline of Bolsa Chica Street resulting in a street
opening approximately twenty-four (24 ) feet in width and twenty
(20) feet in length to be located between two proposed cul-de-
sac streets .
SECTION 3. The precise plan, as shown on the map marked
Exhibit "A," amending Sectional District Map 18 , is herein-
after more particularly described and shall be as follows :
The precise plan of street alignment in the
existing public street right of way on McFadden
Avenue between Bolsa Chica Street and Chemical
Lane, as depicted on map attached hereto,
marked Exhibit 'r1, " city of Huntington Beach,
county of Orange, state of California.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days
after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen
days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly news-
paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington
Beach, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st
day of June, 1976.

Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach and ex-officio Clerk of the
City Council of the said City, do hereby certify that the whole number
of member$ of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is seven;
that the foregoing ordinance was read to said City Council at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 7th day of June
1976 , and was again read to said City Council at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 21st day of June 19 76 , and
was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of more than a majority of
all the members of said City Council.
