AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE
BY AMENDING DISTRICT MAP34 TO INCLUDE PRECISE
PLAN OF STREET ALIGNMENT NO. 76-03 TO PROVIDE
EAST-WEST ACCESS BETWEEN BOLSA CHICA AND WARNER
AVENUE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law, par-
ticularly Government Code Section 65351 et seq. the Planning

Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, after notice
duly given, held a public hearing on July 20, 1976 on Precise
Plan of Street Alignment No . 76-03 to provide east-west access
between Bolsa Chica and Warner Avenue; and
On August 16, 1976, after notice duly given, hearing was held
before this Council, and the matter having been considered, the
Council finds that said Precise Plan No. 76-03 is reasonably
necessary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic, for
the preservation of the health and safety of the inhabitants
of the city, and for the orderly development of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach does ordain as follows :
SECTION 1. That the real property hereinafter described
and shown on the map marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto, incor-
porated herein and by reference made a part hereof,- is hereby
designated and adopted as Precise Plan No, 76-03 of the City
of Huntington Beach.
SECTION 2. District Map 34 (Sectional District Map 29-5-11)
is hereby amended to include Precise Plan No. 76-03, to provide
east-west access between Bolsa Chica and Warner Avenue.
SECTION 3. The precise plan, as shown on the map marked
Exhibit "A" , amending Sectional District Map 29-5-11 is herein-
after more particularly described and shall be as follows :
er 1.
That strip of land, 60 . 00 feet in width, shown
as Los Patos Avenue on a map of Tract 86, Coast
Boulevard Farms, in the City of Huntington Beach,
County of Orange, State of California, recorded
in Book 10 pages 35 and 36 of Miscellaneous Maps
in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days
after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen
days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly news-
paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington
Beach, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th
day of September, 1'976.

that the foregoing ordinance was read to said City Council at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 16th day of August
1976 , and was again read to said City Council at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 7th day of September 1976 and
was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of more than a majority of
all the members of said City Council.
